Summary (Written by Ballistickmissle)[]

The Confederate Military Police were an organization created under General Ryboy95 as a resurrection of The Watchers. They operated under various generals, but were largely only active for the Ryboy Era and a short period of the Irish Era.

Founding[]

The Confederate Military Police were founded shortly after the Watchers were ordered closed by General Ryboy.

Reception[]

The Confederate Military Police was originally received with reserve, as many members expected the same abuses of power that they had seen under the reign of the Watchers. For this reason, many originally protested their opening, and this led to a large number of public debates and protests to the founding of the group.

Original set-up[]

The group was originally based out of a re-purposed police office used for a German Imperial group. Their uniforms consisted of regular confederate uniforms, but with a black armband on the left arm with "CMP" in white lettering. The group was also from the outset more regulated. Their ranks did not override any rank in the regular group, officers of the main group could oppose the appointment of soldiers to the CMP, recruitment was open to more members, and the CMP were more restricted to filing reports to their officers for the poor behavior of fellow soldiers.

After Ryboy95[]

After Ryboy95, the group became more inactive, and their commission was rolled back merely to more of a Confederate spy office, sending and managing spy accounts in enemy groups, and weeding spies out of the CSA.

End of the CMP[]

The CMP was never popular, and only experienced a brief revival when Ryboy95 returned to lead them during an currently unrecorded time. The CMP fell under the leadership of OmegaInvictus sometime afterwards but was shut down because Omega realized it wasn't doing anything except taking up resources.
